How long will therapy take to make a difference?

Many of our clients tell us that they see improvement after just a few sessions. That’s because we are solution-focused and seek to help clients establish clear goals and learn effective coping skills early in the process. Our goal is not to keep you in therapy forever, but at the same time, we recognize that some issues may take longer to resolve. We will always go at a pace that’s right for you!

I’ve tried therapy before and nothing changed. How will this be different?

We enjoy helping women who’ve found therapy ineffective in the past because we can explore ways to make it work for them. We do not believe that there is one way to do therapy, and that’s why we integrate a variety of techniques tailored to each individual’s situation. When clients tell us they’ve had a negative experience with therapy, we want to know what they didn’t like so that we can do things differently.

What If I’m judged or misunderstood by my counselor?

Every therapist at our practice has sat in the other chair, so we understand the courage and vulnerability it takes to do therapy.
