    • Animal Assisted Therapy:
Annie, a Golden Retriever located at our Centennial office, acts as a co-therapist in the counseling room. She helps build trust between the therapist and child more quickly (a great benefit for anyone who feels anxious or intimidated by therapy).            * Offered by Mary Ellen only.
  • Play Therapy:
Ideal treatment for children 10 and under, as play is their natural form of communication.
  • Sensory Based Trauma Interventions:
Beneficial for survivors of trauma of every age.
  • Sand Play:
Beneficial for all ages- teens often enjoy this option of therapy when feeling overwhelmed with traditional talk therapy.
  • Talk Therapy:
The most traditional format of therapy is typically used with teens and adults but can be helpful for ages as young as 8, depending on develop and preference.

Counseling sessions last an average of 50  minutes. Sessions are typically recommended weekly until your goals are achieved.  A 10-15 minute parent check-in is expected at the beginning of each session for children 12 and under.
