CAC Denver is a highly rated group practice specializing in working with Children, Teens and their Parents. Clinicians at CAC will also have opportunities to work with adults but will primarily be working with clients under the age of 18 and must be willing to work with children as young as 3 years old. As such, we are building a specialized team of therapists to work with these clients. Currently, we are looking to hire a clinician who has at least 6 months of play therapy experience or who has taken a graduate level (or higher) play therapy training within the past year. Highest priority will be given to a therapist who already holds an RPT credential. Therapist must also be proficient in working with the parents of child/teen clients. Other proficiencies we will prioritize are: EMDR, IFS, DBT, Theraplay and Neurofeedback.Please submit a list of all relevant trainings along with your resume when applying.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, ContractPay: $48.00 – $75.00 per hourExpected hours: 20-30 client hours per week; must be willing to work 5 days per week, late afternoon/evening hours, and at least one weekend day. Requirements:
- Clinical experience with Adolescents and Children
- Understanding a variety of modalities and their application to clients under the age of 18
- Play therapy training (required) and experience (preferred)
- Well equipped to utilize EHR software for scheduling and notes
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
- Adaptability and willingness to grow
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work or related program from an accredited college or university License-Eligible program (Required); PhD and PsyD’s will also be considered.
- Colorado state Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT), and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) (Preferred). Provisional or associate therapy license in Colorado (Required)
- Experience working with Medicaid and following the requirements for the associated administrative work with these clients (preferred)
